Information on special needs, access, religious observance, and special meal requests
AYA makes every effort to make reunions accessible to all alumni and guests. Special transportation and limited handicapped-accessible accommodations are available. If you have physical limitations or special needs, please contact AYA before registering. You will then use the registration form to confirm specific campus housing and transportation arrangements. Click here for access information for most Yale buildings.
Jewish or other religiously-observant alumni who wish to stay on campus should note that campus housing involves the use of electronic devices. Please contact AYA to discuss in further detail before the Thursday, May 11th deadline, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. (For Kosher meal info, see information under the Joseph Slifka Center in Special Events.)
Please contact AYA for more details or to discuss any other concerns.
Yale Dining makes every effort to accommodate special requests for meals served on campus during reunions. Except for those classes having seated class dinners, all other meals are served buffet style with many options available including vegetarian/vegan and non-red meat.
Menu items prepared for reunions do not use peanuts or any type of tree nuts as direct ingredients. However, Yale Dining strongly advises that those who suffer from tree nut and peanut allergies avoid eating baked desserts while at Yale, as cross-contamination may occur in the bakery.
Contact the AYA at email@example.com for more menu details, with any questions or concerns, or to discuss arrangements that can be made. Any special requests must be made in advance, before the May 11th deadline.
Kosher meals (Shabbat dinner, Saturday lunch and Sunday Bagel Brunch) are offered at the Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale and are included in your reunion fee, but you must email firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information, see the Special Events section of our Web site. All reunion meals include vegan/vegetarian options (no special request required). Pre-packaged and reheated kosher meals can also be delivered to any meal served with your Class. Please use the registration form to reserve.
