Yale's hottest reunion headquarters opens in Davenport. When the lights go down Friday it has everything for a weekend of parties. It's better than Naples Pizza and the pitchers are free! Stop by to check-in, say hello, ask questions and let us help solve any problems you may have while here for the weekend. Campus rooms are available. Headquarters is open as follows:
Thursday: 1 pm - midnight
Friday: 7 am - midnight
Saturday: 7 am - midnight
Sunday: 7 am - 2 pm
Ease into Reunion weekend by catching up with friends and making new connections at an informal dinner. Location to be announced. (*This is a pay-your-own way event.)
Plan to meet your friends at Mory’s, the place to be Thursday night as the doors are thrown open to all returning alumni! Complimentary food, impromptu singing and camaraderie from 9 pm to midnight.
Rows of empty seats in classrooms across campus await your arrival for our many lectures on Friday and Saturday mornings. This morning we will feature some of Yale's most distinguished faculty members in two time slots, from 9 - 10 am, and from 10:30 - 11:30 am. A number of tours and open houses are also offered.
The evening begins with a reception for all classes. Enjoy samples of a variety of wines, as well as cheese and fruit, in a beautiful and historic Yale setting. Find your friends by looking for your residential college flag.
Re-connect with '02 friends at a pre-dinner happy hour under the tent in the Davenport Courtyard.
Enjoy an American Barbeque including classics like pulled pork and brisket, gourmet slaw and salad, as well as sweet potato and quinoa burger. Taste the notable changes to Yale Dining - no need to settle for cereal (again) tonight!
Remember how you hung around common areas after dinner rather than study? After dinner, stay, kick back Rudy's style, chat with friends, mourn the Doodle, and forget your cares. Enjoy a open bar throughout the night.
Start your Saturday morning (weather permitting) with some gentle stretching and breathing exercises, and get your body feeling "yoga good" for a busy day of reunion activities! This is a mixed-level class featuring modifications for all levels of ability, so whether you have been practicing for years or have never touched a yoga mat, everyone can have an enjoyable experience in this class. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. No previous yoga experience necessary; children and all ages welcome.
Here's your chance to enjoy again the extraordinary opportunities available at Yale! There are two "course times," 9 am and 10:30 am. Learn or do something wonderful this morning!
Come back to the tent to enjoy classic fare as well as portabella burgers and delicious salads. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will flow until 1:30 pm.
The AYA invites you to our Family Festival at Payne Whitney Gym! Kids will love discovering our selection of inflatable attractions, including a climbing wall and giant slide, plus a photo booth, carnival games, safari animal rides, and more! (Children must be accompanied by a parent.)
We live in extraordinary, challenging, and changing times. Yale ’02 is making its mark on the world with our classmates – Writers, Policy Makers, Entrepreneurs, Entertainers – at the forefront. Hear what some of your classmates have been up to over the past 15 years and, in particular, how they are approaching these challenging times and taking action. Be inspired, be entertained, and share some ’02 pride. Then spend time re-meeting or meeting for the first time your classmates in our own updated small seminar discussion – or just network over shared interests.
RAPID FIRE TALKS
Interact with your classmates as they present several two-minute Rapid Fire Talks/Calls to Action on relevant social, political, or _________ topics. This isn’t a 101 lecture hall class, so join in with comments and questions.
Join your classmates who will be part of three sequential 20-minute panels to share what they’ve been up to in the last 15 years and what our class can do in the years to come. Selected topics are: (1) Entertainment & Culture, (2), and Education & Health, and (3) Politics & Media.
President Peter Salovey welcomes you back to campus, offering his review of Yale today.
After President Salovey’s update, join singers from all classes for a jamboree celebrating Yale’s incredible musical tradition. Alumni from the Glee Club and Whiffenpoof and Whim ’n Rhythm alumni groups, conducted by Glee Club alumna Stephanie Tubiolo '14. MMus '16, will perform Yale favorites from many generations, concluding with a rousing rendition of “Bright College Years.” (The Glee Club rehearsal for the Celebration will take place at 10:30 am Saturday morning as part of "Morning at Yale." All singers are welcome!)
Catch up with friends and make them jealous about the events you “shopped” throughout the day. Come dapper or come casual - just be prepared to enjoy a special evening with friends.
We hope you've worked up an appetite, because our Class Saturday Night Dinner will be a global feast with a full open bar and three stations featuring cuisine from the Mediterranean, the Near East, and Asia. No need for Mamoun's or the Thai Taste cart! Connect with your college roomies, your best pals, or mix it up.
"Tonight [we're] going to party like it's 1999…" Roll back the clock to pre-Y2K nights of Screw Your Roommate and Exotic Erotic to party all night. Open bar, DJ, and - of course - the best dance companions around!
Enjoy memories of Commons and a final gathering with friends at this delicious breakfast for all classes, featuring muffins, coffee cake, bagels, oatmeal, grits, Belgian waffles, eggs, French toast, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit, coffee, tea and juices. We promise you won't go home hungry!
Join Yale’s ecumenical Christian community for Sunday worship, which will include an alumni preacher from one of the reunion classes, prayers for alumni who have died, and wonderful music and liturgy. Battell Chapel Choir and Student Deacon alumni especially invited.
